Preadmission cardiac surgery

The cardiac surgery clinic is located at the Health Sciences Centre ambulatory clinics service area. You will receive an information package once you have been approved for heart surgery. When your surgery is scheduled, you will be required to visit the preadmission clinic. You will meet the health-care team, discuss your surgery, and learn about preparing for your heart surgery.
