Inpatient cardiac care

On your cardiac journey, you may require admission into your local hospital or health-care facility. There you will receive cardiac assessments, diagnoses, and interventions.   

  Your health-care team will coordinate with specialists at the Health Sciences Centre to determine the most appropriate plan for your cardiac care. Based on the decision of the medical team, this could result in a transfer to the Health Science Centre to access specialized cardiac services.

At the Health Sciences Centre, we provide specialized cardiac services including:  

• Diagnostics 

• Assessment

• Surgery

We also encourage you, your families, and caregivers to participate in your care.
